Abstrak

Myristica sp. Is a native plant of Indonesia. Indonesia has large nutmeg genetic resources and is the center of plant diversity in the Maluku Islands. The highest plant diversity is found on the islands of Banda, Siua, and Papua. This study aims to analyze genetic diversity and Myristica sp kinship based on morphological characters. This research is descriptive. The results showed that 19 local varieties of nutmeg were obtained in this Gubukusuma village. As for kinship, there are four main groups, namely group I, which consists of nutmeg, macaque nutmeg, and ordinary nutmeg 6. Group II consists of bottle nutmeg 2, ordinary nutmeg 3, nutmeg 1, and ordinary nutmeg 2. Group III consists of king nutmeg 1, king nutmeg 2, lemon nutmeg, and forest nutmeg. Group IV consisted of small nutmeg, ordinary nutmeg 5, ordinary nutmeg 4, and ordinary nutmeg 1
